Bareboat Charter

How does bareboat charter work?

Bareboat charter is simply the rental of the boat, meaning the rental of the entire vessel without a crew.
You can still choose to book a local skipper, experienced in the area, to handle the operation of your boat.

If you prefer to rent the boat without a local skipper, who is knowledgeable about the area, you will need additional documents, such as a boating license valid in Italy or the Seychelles (please be aware that on sailing catamarans you need the integration of your license for sailing boats). Furthermore, given the size of our catamarans, you must be able to demonstrate relevant experience through a sailing resume.
To rent one of our boats in Sardinia, it is mandatory to possess a navigation license recognised by the Italian port authorities, such as the (sailing) boating license within 12 nautical miles.
However, licenses issued by foreign authorities, such as the Yachtmaster, are also recognised.
We recommend contacting us before booking your vacation regarding the qualifications and requirements for renting without a skipper.
We reserve the right to assess the skipper’s skills directly at the base and to not deliver the boat, if, despite the briefing, our Base Manager believes that the renter is not, or may not be, able to handle the requested boat.

The rental cost does not include:
  • Skipper cost: if you book a skipper, you can pay the skipper directly in cash upon arrival (Sardinia and Seychelles) or pay in advance for the Seychelles.
  • Expenses: fuel, fresh water, ports and moorings, provisioning, landing fees, new environmental levy (Seychelles only), national park fees, and any local taxes.
  • Any extras you can book: provisioning (our staff can bring groceries directly onboard following your instructions), skipper, chef / hostess, kayak / SUP, full board, fishing equipment, beverages, fishing equipment, Wi-Fi, airport / port / hotel transfers. All these extras can be booked in advance and settled at the base.
  • Tender outboard engine: we highly recommend adding it for a complete onshore experience.
  • Charter Pack (mandatory), bed linen and towel sets.
  • Security deposit: a deposit for renting a boat without a skipper

Our base is always more than pleased to welcome you! You can leave your luggage and take a moment to relax in the bar and restaurants right next to our office (at all our bases).
To conclude the rental agreement, our colleagues will need to perform the check-in at our office, along with your documents, before showing you the boat.
You can board from 5:00 pm (for cruises in Sardinia) and from 2:00 pm (for cruises in Seychelles). If, by chance, you arrive later, please inform us of your arrival time so that we can welcome you promptly and deliver the boat to you as soon as possible.

We recommend taking out a trip cancellation insurance policy with any insurance agency in case you need to cancel or modify your cruise for an unexpected reason.
You can also add a personal insurance policy that covers navigation at sea.
All out boats are insure with a rental clause, with excellent European agencies that cover all risks and third-party liabilities.
For rentals without a skipper, you will need to leave a security deposit at our base upon arrival, in the amount of €4.000, which will be refunded when you return the boat without any damages.

Exclusive Charter

What is an exclusive charter?

It's a luxurious travel experience in which you rent a boat solely for yourself and your guests, including all necessary services and spectacular itineraries for each destination, high-end and personalized gastronomy according to your wishes. With a crew on board, every aspect of the cruise is tailor-made to meet your tastes and preferences.
You don't need nautical skills, as you will have at your disposal a crew of professionals, including a skipper and a chef, who will ensure a top-quality, discreet, and attentive service. On some of our vessels, you might find an additional crew member dedicated exclusively to your well-being.
Our fleet includes boats with four to six cabins, capable of accommodating up to 12 passengers. Each cabin, equipped with a private bathroom, offers the comfort of a luxury double room. Our crewed vessels are available for a minimum rental of 3 nights, depending on the location. In certain times of the year, the minimum rental is one week, extendable up to 14 or 21 nights.

Aboard our exclusive charter, you will find a crew consisting of a captain (skipper) and a chef, both dedicated to ensuring your utmost comfort during the cruise. Leave all your worries ashore and enjoy your holiday: our staff is rigorously selected to ensure both your safety at sea and a top-notch culinary experience.
The crews, expert connoisseurs of the destinations, will work closely with you to plan a personalized itinerary, enriched with suggestions to make your trip memorable. During the cruise, you will delight in exquisite dishes, prepared according to your preferences indicated in advance. The chef will get in touch with you to discuss your culinary tastes and create tailor-made menus, both for you and your guests. You will also have the opportunity to taste local specialties, prepared with fresh ingredients typical of the region.

In a cabin charter, guests book one double cabin with a private bathroom within a predetermined and unchangeable itinerary. In this type of cruise, you share the boat with other travellers who have booked the remaining available cabins. A professional captain (skipper) and chef are at your disposal. The duration of the trip varies from four to seven nights, depending on the destination, and includes a fixed menu with meals and drinks that may vary according to the location. In contrast, the exclusive charter offers you the opportunity to have the entire boat at your complete disposal, along with your guests, ensuring a more personalized and private experience.

Our service includes the presence of a talented chef, ready to cater to your culinary requests, whether you prefer local dishes or international specialties. If you wish to celebrate an important moment like a birthday or an anniversary, be sure to mention it during your booking. In the provided quote, you will find a detailed list of all the mandatory and optional extras for the vessel you have chosen, allowing you to customize your cruise according to your preferences.   • Tips, which are at your discretion.
  • Mooring fees at ports, which vary based on the chosen itinerary.
  • Tourist taxes, landing fees, and national park fees.
  • Meals eaten off the boat, in case you choose to dine at local restaurants.
  • Costs related to flights, transfers, and insurance; upon request, we can provide a package that also includes these services.
  • Water sports equipment, available for advance purchase or at our base.
  • Fuel, the cost of which will be calculated and settled at the end of the cruise.

Cabin Charter

What is the cabin charter?

Opting for cabin charter means booking a cabin on one of our sailing catamarans for an unforgettable adventure filled with experiences. We carefully select destinations and routes to offer you exciting excursions and excellent onboard gastronomy. This option is ideal for those who want to explore the sea without the need for nautical experience but with a great passion for adventure.
This travel mode allows you to admire destinations from a maritime perspective, waking up each day to a new panorama. Our crews are dedicated to the comfort of guests, who can relax in spacious common areas or in their own double cabins with private bathrooms. The catamarans in our fleet are modern, equipped with four double cabins, and capable of accommodating up to eight people. The duration of the cruises varies between four and seven days, depending on the location.
We propose an adventure that mixes personal closeness and social interaction, ideal for lovers of conviviality. Our vessels are comparable to exclusive resorts on the water, where the ocean becomes a huge natural pool. This type of trip, available for all the destinations offered, is distinctive in providing a singular experience at advantageous prices.
Each destination includes a fixed itinerary and a predetermined menu, created by the onboard chef (meals and drinks vary according to the location). The captain, an expert in the area, will take you to the most interesting points, sharing his knowledge of the places to enrich your experience.

Our cabin charter cruises generally lasts 7 nights, from Saturday to Saturday, but we also offer shorter duration options (contact us for details). You will stay on a fully equipped sailing catamaran to ensure a comfortable holiday. The price includes full board, with dishes carefully prepared by our chefs using high-quality ingredients from local suppliers. Included in the price are also hot drinks and fruit juices during breakfast, as well as always available mineral water. Extra drinks, such as alcoholic beverages, can be purchased on board.
All expenses related to the cruise are covered, including fuel, national park entries, final cleaning, bed linen and towels, the use of the dinghy, and snorkeling equipment. Depending on availability, water activities such as kayaking or stand-up paddle may also be found.
For onboard expenses (e.g., fuel, access to parks, mooring in ports), a non-refundable payment for a common fund covering these direct expenses is anticipated. Each quote specifies the amount for each cruise (i.e. landing fees).
In some destinations, a government tax may be required, excluded from the cruise cost, to be paid at check-in (like the environmental tax in the Seychelles).
The cruise includes an overnight stay in the departure port on Friday and, depending on the itinerary, may also include a second night during the week. For detailed information on itineraries, please consult our tour page.
